Support Dr Katherine Cummins as she uncovers new ways to over come acute myeloid leukaemia.
Dr Katherine Cummins is the recipient of our female fellowship specifically directed at Haematology career development in medical research. The Snowdome Foundation and Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision are passionate about supporting the advancement of women in medical research and are funding this fellowship together with the support of the Gunn Family.
Dr Cummins is a clinical haematologist and research fellow at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Her research project is focussed on discovering a novel mechanism to overcome treatment resistance in Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML).
With the support of the Gunn Family and Maddie Riewoldt's Vision Dr Cummins will receive a three year fellowship. The fellowship offers a long- term commitment to funding, combined with a mentor program.
